James Nason’s career as a rural journalist has spanned three decades from regional reporting to news writing and senior editorial management roles across eastern Australia with the nation’s largest publisher of agricultural newspapers, before launching an independent network of national online news websites dedicated to the Australian beef, sheep, grain and rural property sectors with long-time colleague Jon Condon in 2011.

James’ work has been recognised with numerous news and agricultural writing awards, including Rural Press Agricultural Publishing Editorial Person of the Year and Queensland’s Excellence in Rural Journalism award.
