As exhibitors, conference speakers, international visitors and others participting in Beef 2012 begin to pack up to head home, what lies ahead in terms of event coverage on Beef Central?

The sheer volume of valuable information generated out of an event of this size and diversity means that far from concluding our Beef 2012 coverage today, we are really only just beginning.

The next three to four weeks will see a steady stream of quality information and highlights from the event, covering all points in the meat and livestock supply chain.

Much of the content from the many seminar and conference programs held this week is timeless, and it will be our pleasure to share it with our readers.

Stay tuned for some exclusive in-depth interrviews with key speakers from across the world from Monday, and extending well into June.

On a personal note, James, Jon and Roger today celebrate Beef Central's first birthday, to be marked by a small gathering at foundation partner, Westpac's marquee on the Beef 2012 grounds at 2pm. During the function, Beef Central's new smartphone 'App' will be officially launched, and a lucky recent subscriber's name will be drawn to receive an ipad prize.

Since our launch a year ago, James and Jon have generated more than 1630 articles, covering all aspects of the beef supply chain.
