Grant Daniel Long Report

There was an increased yarding with all regular feed and restocker buyers participating, along with an additional export buyer. Heavy cows experienced a price increase of 5c/kg to 10c/kg, while heavy steers and heifers maintained stable prices. A quality yarding of feeder heifers was observed, which sold at higher prices, whereas feeder steers remained steady. The yarding of restocker cattle displayed mixed quality, with better quality animals attracting strong demand, while secondary steers and heifers saw a decline in prices.
