Allflex’s Pat Gunston talks to delegates during the first LEP Expo in Indonesia last year.

Building on the success of its inaugural live export expo in Indonesia last year, the MLA/Livecorp Livestock Export Program will hold a bigger event in 2016.

The event was developed to allow the Indonesian cattle industry to gain a better understanding of the products and services available and to help make more informed choices in terms of animal welfare and supply chain efficiencies within their individual production systems.

The inaugural one-day expo in Tangerang last year saw 20 companies exhibit products and services and around 400 visitors participate in the event.

The second LEP Expo will be held at the Atria Hotel, Gading Serpong on April 6-7 2016 and will be a two-day event, with about 50 companies expected to participate.

Exhibits will range from products and information on livestock equipment, abattoir equipment, animal health products, animal feed products, feedlot software and construction, livestock traceability and information system, breed associations, and companies involved in the livestock industry in general.

Seminars and product presentations will also be included.

Expressions of interest for companies to join the LEP EXPO 2016 can be directed to Helen Fadma at hfadma@mla.com.au or +62 811 97 83224 by the close of business on January 15, 2016.
