Throughout the week, surface troughs and tropical moisture brought thunderstorms across much of central, northern, and eastern Australia down to northern New South Wales.
Weekly totals of more than 50 mm were recorded across large areas of the north and east, with some local totals above 100 mm.
Parts of the interior in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia recorded 5 to 50 mm.
Cold fronts and low-pressure systems brought rain to southern states, with weekly totals of 5 to 50 mm across much of south-eastern South Australia, and in Victoria and Tasmania.
Weekly totals above 50 mm were recorded across western Tasmania and parts of the Victorian eastern ranges.
The highest weekly total was 283.2 mm, at Charles Point (NT), which also included the highest daily total of 228.4 mm in the 24 hours to 9 am on 17 November.
