A strong cold front crossed western and southern Western Australia mid-week, bringing widespread rain. Busselton Aero recorded the highest daily rainfall total (at a Bureau gauge) of 91.4 mm to 9am on the 13th as well as the highest weekly rainfall total (at a Bureau gauge) of 116.0 mm.
During the week, easterly airflow brought showers to parts of the Queensland coast.
Weekly totals between 25 to 100 mm were recorded across western Tasmania.
Weekly totals up to 50 mm were recorded across western and southern Western Australia, with isolated rainfall totals of 50 to 100 mm along the south-west coast.
Weekly totals greater than 10 mm, with isolated pockets of 25 to 50 mm were recorded in the Northern districts of Queensland.
Most of Australia received little to no rainfall during the week.
