by Beef Central, 20 September 2017

Yarding 5902 Change -323

There was a yarding of 5,902 head today at Roma Store Sale, down 232 head on last week.

The majority of the yarding were steers followed by similar numbers of heifers and 700 cows were offered. Quality was varied and cattle directly from the paddock were showing signs of the harsh conditions as larger runs of western cattle were being presented. Cattle on feed stood out amongst those sold younger and lighter due to the dry.
