POLL: Should another processor replace Iain Mars on MLA board?

Beef Central, 30/01/2012

Beef Central this week launches a new polling feature to gauge reader opinions on key beef industry issues.

The move by JBS Australia chief executive Iain Mars back to the company's South American operations will inevitably mean that he will have to resign as a director of Meat and Livestock Australia.

He was appointed to the board in November 2009, replacing Paul Troja, former head of Rockdale Beef, with specialist experience in the field of processing.

Beef Central is asking readers the question – should he be replaced by another someone else from the processing/export industry?
