BeefEx kicks off after four-year hiatus + PICTURES

MORE than 600 lotfeeders and other grainfed industry stakeholders have taken to Brisbane’s RNA showgrounds for the biennial Beef Ex conference.

The lotfeeding industry’s peak conference has had a four-year hiatus after a COVID cancellation in 2020. Despite a quick fire alarm to start of the conference, speakers were up on stage according to schedule.

Beef Central’s Jon Condon and Eric Barker are on the ground at the conference this week, which is hosting a wide range of speakers – including McDonalds’ global beef director Andrew Brazier, former treasurer Peter Costello and Woolworths’ Greenstock business managing director Anna Speer.

While more stories will rollout in the coming days, here are some of the faces at the event….
