NT producers to ‘BeefUp’ their businesses

Beef Central, 12/08/2018

Northern Territory beef producers can hear the latest regionally-relevant beef industry research and receive practical information to assist their businesses at Meat & Livestock Australia’s BeefUp Forum this month.

The two-day Victoria River Research Station Field Day and BeefUp Forum will be held at the iconic research station, also known as Kidman Springs, on 15 and 16 August.

The event is supported by the NT Department of Primary Industry and Resources, and the Katherine Producer Industry Advisory Committee (KPIAC), which is part of the North Australia Beef Research Council.

Besides providing producers with information they can use to help boost on-farm productivity and profitability, the forums also seek direct input from producers to help drive the future direction of MLA’s levy-payer funded research, development and adoption programs.
