A webinar scheduled for Wednesday next week will introduce Northern Breeding Business (NB2), a producer-designed and led extension, adoption and research program aimed at increasing breeding herd performance and reducing calf mortality in northern Australia.
The ‘Pathway to Practice’ pillar is the main focal point of the program and involves groups of producers training and learning together, with the help of a facilitator, to build and implement customised breeding management plans for their own properties.
This adoption-focused pillar is supported by three research and development pillars – Herd, Feed-base and Environment – that provide the missing research required by producers to improve.
Join Lee Fitzpatrick (NB2), Nigel Tomkins (MLA) and producer speakers when they discuss the Northern Breeding Business initiative and how producers can benefit from NB2.
A Q&A session will follow the presentation where participants can get answers to their questions.
After registering, stakeholders will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
The webinar is being staged by Beef Connect, a collaboration between FutureBeef and Beef Central.
When: Wednesday 9 December, from 12:30pm AEST.
