Weaners under 220kg topped at 205c/kg and averaged 159c/kg, while weaner steers in the 220-280kg range reached 199c/kg and averaged 164c/kg. Steers in the 280-350kg range reached 197c/kg and averaged 173c/kg, and steers in the 350-400kg range reached 187c/kg and averaged 172c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-550kg range topping at 188c/kg and averaging 170c/kg.

Gumvale Pastoral Co, Gumvale, Tibooburra, sold Santa steers to 205c/kg for 204kg to return $420/head with the consignment averaging 195c for 267kg to make $523. The Santa heifers sold to 142c for 308kg to return $438 with the consignment averaging 139c for 232kg to make $323.

A & K Day, Jaccondoll, Barcaldine, sold Charolais-cross steers to 200c for 158kg to return $318 with the consignment averaging 192c for 220kg to make $422. The Charolais-cross heifers sold to 134c for 333kg to return $447.

Peel Northampton Downs, Northhampton Downs, Blackall, sold Charolais steers to 190c for 310kg to return $589 with the consignment averaging 178c for 283kg to make $504. The Santa-cross heifers sold to 142c for 227kg to return $323 with the consignment averaging 140c for 220kg to make $308.

K & M Mansfield, Bampi, Roma, sold Santa-cross steers to 188c for 406kg to return $764 with the consignment averaging 184c for 410kg to make $754.

Oakleigh Grazing Co, Oakleigh, Morven, sold Brangus steers to 186c for 235kg to return $438. The Brangus heifers sold to 138c for 233kg to return $323 with the consignment averaging 136c for 220kg to make $299.

S Kidman & Co, Durham Downs, Eromanga, sold Santa steers to 182c for 335kg to return $610 with the consignment averaging 151c for 242kg to make $363. The Santa heifers sold to 146c for 209kg to return $306 with the consignment averaging 140c for 170kg to make $222.

Heifers in the 350-450kg range reached 136c/kg and averaged 128c/kg. Heifers in the 280-350kg range topped at 142c/kg and averaged 122c/kg. Heifers in the 220-280kg range topped at 144c/kg and averaged 134c/kg, while heifers under 220kg topped at 146c/kg and averaged 128c/kg.

W Proud & D Brumpton, Scattering Plains, Roma, sold Charbray-cross heifers to 137c for 240kg to return $330 with the consignment averaging 136c for 258kg to make $351.

Cows over 500kg sold to 121c/kg and averaged 114c/kg, while cows 400-500kg topped at 121c/kg and averaged 103c/kg. Cows in the 300-400kg sold to 116c/kg and averaged 78c/kg.

Cows and calves sold to $610/unit and averaged $473.

Bulls up to 400kg reached 150c/kg and average 128c/kg.
