TV Chef Adrian Richardson from Melbourne’s La Luna Bistro restuarant shared his thoughts on how to cook a perfect steak with hundreds of cattle producers at the 2019 Angus Australia conference in Albury last week.
Mr Richardson, who has appeared in popular TV cooking shows including Secret Meat Business; Good Chef, Bad Chef and Iron Chef, outlined 8 tips in particular to ensure the perfect steak every time:

I am Juliana and I have an Angus Sirloin steak, it is on the bench defrosting. I want to make it as you do, I don’t want a dry steak. So I watched your lecture on how to have the perfect steak, if I were in Australia I would visit La Luna.!! So I am going to follow your guideline. Also, I love garlic on my steak. Do I make an incision on the steak and put garlic or do I rub garlic? Can you tell me, please.? Okay, now I am seriously hungry, so going to cook, hope it comes out nice and moist and browned well.
