THE rapidly expanding Meat Business Women network has opened registrations for its 2026 National Conference, taking place in Sydney on 25 March.
The event will unite women from across the meat and food supply chain for a day of learning, connection and industry insight, shaped around this year’s theme: Fuelled by Ambition.
The conference will explore how ambition drives personal growth, stronger workplaces and a more inclusive industry.
Delegates can expect a program of inspiring speakers, practical skill-building sessions, leadership conversations and the chance to grow their networks in a supportive, future-focused environment.
Pre-conference activities, including a tour of Coles’ Retail Ready Operations, will add further depth and value for those wanting a closer look at industry leadership in action.
New sponsorship initiative
Alongside the conference launch, Meat Business Women Australia has introduced Empower Her Access, a new initiative designed to support women who may face financial or geographical barriers to attending the event. Successful applicants will receive a sponsored delegate ticket, enabling broader participation and ensuring more women have access to the connections and development opportunities that shape careers.

Meat Business Women chair Stacey Mckenna from Midfield Meats in Victoria
Australian Chair Stacey McKenna said the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to opening doors and expanding pathways for women at all stages of their careers.
“We meet exceptional women every day who bring drive and potential to this industry, yet many don’t always have the same opportunities to participate in events like our national conference,” Ms McKenna said.
“Empower Her Access helps remove those barriers. It’s about creating room at the table, supporting ambition and ensuring more women can step into spaces that accelerate their growth.”
Ms McKenna also emphasised how the theme Fuelled by Ambition captures the spirit of the 2026 event.
“Ambition shows up in many forms — curiosity, courage, leadership and the willingness to try something new. Our 2026 conference celebrates that energy,” she said. “Delegates will leave feeling connected, inspired and equipped with fresh tools and perspectives to take back into their workplaces.”
Next march’s conference takes place at Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf, on Darling Harbour.
