Cattle Council of Australia president Greg Brown is recovering in a Cairns hospital after receiving injuries while working with cattle on his northern Queensland cattle property on Monday.
CCA executive director David Inall said Mr Brown was hit by a beast while working in the yards of his Mount Garnet property “Meadowbank” and suffered soft-tissue damage in his back.
He was airlifted by helicopter to Cairns Base Hospital.
Mr Inall said Mr Brown’s condition was improving and the CCA president hoped to be back on his feet in coming days.
