Best of Beef in 2012

Beef Central 21/12/2012

Beef Central produced more than 1500 articles about the Australian beef and cattle industry in 2012,  ranging from daily news updates to opinion pieces from industry experts and in-depth analysis.

Here we have drafted-out 100 that generated particular interest, reader comment and feedback throughout the year.

In the past 12 months Jon, James, Roger, Cath and the team have worked hard to establish Beef Central as the leading source of reliable, accurate and relevant news for Australia’s beef and cattle industry, and as the most targeted and cost-effective advertising platform for companies that service the industry.

In 2012 we have expanded our editorial resources to include regular contributions from respected industry journalists including Tom Dawkins in Southern Australia and Steve Kay in the United States, and have introduced several new initiatives including a recruitment section and a mobile version of the website to make our news more accessible to people on the move (click here to learn more)

We take this opportunity to wish our valued readers a Happy Christmas and hopefully wet new year,  and look forward to keeping all industry stakeholders up to date and well-informed with our free daily industry news service in 2013.

Beef Central will take a short publishing break over the Christmas/New Year period. Our daily news emails will resume from Monday, January 7, however our website will continue to be updated with breaking news over the next two weeks.
