TICKETS to attend May’s Beef Australia 2021 industry event in Rockhampton go on sale on Monday.

Final preparations are underway, and the preliminary Beef 2021 program has now been released (click here to view), allowing industry stakeholders to plan their action-packed itineraries covering competitions, information-gathering, trade shows, social events and entertainment.

Whether each visitor is a first-timer at the triennial industry event, or a seasoned veteran, the stage is set for a comprehensive program of non-stop attractions and events from morning to night for the week-long event.

New program features will create lasting memories, with an abundance of social events, such as the Beef Australia Ball and new educational features, including the Ken Coombe Tech Yards.

The highly anticipated Nutrien Livestock stud and commercial cattle competitions always attract strong crowds, with the unique opportunity to witness the beef cattle industry’s finest genetics on parade from across almost 30 breeds.

Beef 2021 CEO Ian Mill

With less than 100 days until the gates swing open, Beef Australia chief executive Ian Mill is thrilled to see the huge program coming together.

“It is most definitely go-time. We are pulling out all stops to ensure that Beef 2021 is the best event yet,” Mr Mill said.

“We remain responsive and plans will continue to adapt to any changes in health guidelines. We are thankful for the support from our principal partners, sponsors, stakeholders and our local community here in Rockhampton,” he said.

“We look forward to coming together to celebrate everything that is great about the Australian beef industry in May. Delivering an event of this size and calibre requires a lot of contracted goods and services. Having generated more than $85 million for the local economy at the last event in 2018, we are committed to partnering with and showcasing our local businesses wherever possible,” Mr Mill said.

  • A preliminary program is available here and the full program will be released with tickets on Monday 1 February at www.beefaustralia.com.au

I normally attend Beef together with friends from the Philippines. It is unfortunate I will miss out this time. Would like to inquire the schedule of the seminars and if these will be made available on line. Wish you great success.

Cheers Martin – nice to hear from you in the sunny Philippines. We will be publishing a full list of seminars, including times, dates, content and links for those who wish to tune-in via webinar. Editor

Love the Beef event in Rockhampton but not happy with event tickets only being sold as a table of ten. I under stand there are COVID restrictions that you have to work within.

If i was to buy a table of ten for a function, two spots are filled by my wife and myself, the other 8 spots are filled by mates and friends I have rounded up from through out Queensland. All names are registered by the 5/4/2021.

What is the COVID difference between this and previous purchasing options BEEF have provided where these people would have purchased these ticket separately?

    Thanks Ray…
