TICKETS to attend May’s Beef Australia 2021 industry event in Rockhampton go on sale on Monday.

Final preparations are underway, and the preliminary Beef 2021 program has now been released (click here to view), allowing industry stakeholders to plan their action-packed itineraries covering competitions, information-gathering, trade shows, social events and entertainment.

Whether each visitor is a first-timer at the triennial industry event, or a seasoned veteran, the stage is set for a comprehensive program of non-stop attractions and events from morning to night for the week-long event.

New program features will create lasting memories, with an abundance of social events, such as the Beef Australia Ball and new educational features, including the Ken Coombe Tech Yards.

The highly anticipated Nutrien Livestock stud and commercial cattle competitions always attract strong crowds, with the unique opportunity to witness the beef cattle industry’s finest genetics on parade from across almost 30 breeds.

Beef 2021 CEO Ian Mill

With less than 100 days until the gates swing open, Beef Australia chief executive Ian Mill is thrilled to see the huge program coming together.

“It is most definitely go-time. We are pulling out all stops to ensure that Beef 2021 is the best event yet,” Mr Mill said.

“We remain responsive and plans will continue to adapt to any changes in health guidelines. We are thankful for the support from our principal partners, sponsors, stakeholders and our local community here in Rockhampton,” he said.

“We look forward to coming together to celebrate everything that is great about the Australian beef industry in May. Delivering an event of this size and calibre requires a lot of contracted goods and services. Having generated more than $85 million for the local economy at the last event in 2018, we are committed to partnering with and showcasing our local businesses wherever possible,” Mr Mill said.

  • A preliminary program is available here and the full program will be released with tickets on Monday 1 February at www.beefaustralia.com.au
