Cattle numbers continue to fall at the Roma Saleyards after the weekend rain event across the local supply area.

Cattle were drawn from a wider supply area and with a large single vendor run of females including PTIC and cows and calf units yarded.

The overall quality of the yarding was mixed.

A smaller buying panel of regular processors, feedlots, and local restockers was present and operating, however there were few interstate buyers in attendance this week.

Despite the mixed quality of the yarding, prices remained firm with price fluctuations due to quality variations.
