Yarding 3095 Change -264
Numbers reduced to 3,095, down by 264 head at the Roma Store Sale after the recent rain event over the supply area.
Cattle continue to be mostly drawn from the usual supply area, and the overall quality of the yarding was again mixed.
Steers and heifers were yarded in similar numbers, with a smaller number of cows present.
A good buying panel was in attendance and operating, however one regular processor continues to remain absent.
Prices improved across the steers, and over the lead of the heifers, off the back of strong restocker, and feedlot competition for the reduced yarding. Cows also saw improvements, despite the reduced processor competition.
