Numbers rose again to 5,852 head at the Roma Store Sale. Cattle were drawn from a wide supply area, with good numbers from Western and North-West Queensland. The overall quality varied in a yarding dominated by steers. A good buying panel was present and operating, however processor numbers were reduced. The market remained firm, with improvements in places from the previous week as price fluctuations were reflective of quality variations. Top end prices for steers improved, however they eased for heifers after the record breaking sale last week. Cows also eased in price.
