Yarding 2430 Change 493

The supply of stock increased by 493 head, however still remained relatively low at 2430 at the Roma store sale.

Cattle were drawn from a wide supply area, and overall quality was mixed.

Export buyer attendance was not as good as the previous week, with one major exporter absent from the buying panel.

However, the regular feeder and restocker buyers were very active in the market, and light weight yearling steers and heifers returning to the paddock or background experienced price improvements.

Yearling steers and heifers to feed continued to receive very strong support for the quality penned.

Cows to restockers were in demand, while cows to export processors averaged 20c/kg less.
