Confidence improved after the recent widespread but varied rainfall across the supply area.

Cattle were again mostly drawn from the local supply area with several larger single vendor lines yarded.

A good panel of buyers was present and operating.

Steers dominated the yarding. Light weight young cattle were present in numbers as producers lighten off to manage the continuing dry conditions.

The quality of the yarding was improved and while the top prices remained similar to the previous week the overall averages of the mostly improved reflective of quality.

Feedlot competition remained strong.
