Roma Saleyards report
Just shy of 6500 head of cattle were offloaded at Roma Saleyards today as clear skies made a welcomed return and so did the numbers.
Prices remained firm with dearer trends reflected across several categories.
The yarding saw an increase of 1951 on last week’s sale numbers with cattle drawn locally from Injune, Mitchell and further west from the likes of Longreach, Winton and Windorah amongst others.
The steer and cow markets may have influenced the yarding on previous weeks, but it was a quality line of heifers who took centre stage.
