Yarding 3623 Change -1919

CATTLE numbers fell by 1,919 head after the recent patchy rain event over the local supply area, and as the financial year draws closer to a close.

Cattle were drawn from a wide supply area and steers dominated the yarding.

The overall quality and age of the yarding was varied and prices were reflective of quality.

A good buying panel was present with a continued southern and local restocker presence and all were operating.

Restockers and feedlots were operating in a quality driven market with demand strong for sought after local lines of medium weight yearling steers and heifers, which both saw improvements in price from the previous week.
