Yarding 7500 Change 3461

Cattle were drawn from North Western Queensland were again present in numbers, accounting for almost a third of the total yarding.

The yarding also included a large local single vendor run of quality cattle.

Steers and heifers were yarded in similar numbers, while cows were present in greater numbers this week.

A good panel of regular buyers was present and all were operating.

Agents advise that the overall quality of the yarding was mixed, however the market remained firm at the top end for quality steers and heifers, but overall prices eased.
