All buyers were in attendance or represented, operating in a robust market for yet another week. Buyers were optimistic with the impending general rain predicted. Restockers were offered a mixed yarding and paid well for quality. Feeders were sourcing heavier cattle, as grain prices soar.

Yearling steers topped at an impressive 424c, to average 355c/kg. Milk tooth trade steers, 280-400kg, topped at 380c, to average 328c/kg. Yearling heifers topped at 359c, to average 303c/kg.

Grown steers topped at 298c, to average 275c/kg. Heavy bulls sold to an impressive 282c/kg. Grown heifers topped at 298c, to average 275c/kg. Cows made to a top of 250c, to average 214c/kg. Cows with calves sold for $1,060/unit.

Weaner steers under 220kg topped at 424c/kg and averaged 369c/kg, weaner steers in the 220-280kg range reached 414c/kg and averaged 363c/kg. Steers in the 280- 350kg range reached 386c/kg and averaged 345c/kg, and steers in the 350-400kg range reached 338c/kg and averaged 317c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-550kg range topped at 315c/kg and averaged 292c/kg.

Cows and calves hit $1,060/unit.
