Numbers were similar however, quality declined with buyers having to make a choice through a very plain offering.

Most of the usual export and domestic buyers were at the sale.

The reduced supply of vealers sold to weak demand.

The pick of the vealers made from 354 to 422c/kg.

Yearling trade steers were few and buying competition fluctuated. The bulk selling at 320c to 424c/kg.

The heifer portion sold to increased competition making from 322c to 412c/kg. Feeder heifers medium weight made from 335c to 395c/kg.

In the export sale most processors operated.

Heavy bullocks jumped 15c making from 360c to 389c/kg.

The cow market the limited number forced buyers into bidding duels, which lifted prices 15c/kg.

The better finished heavy types of cows selling at 295c to 321c/kg. Heavy bulls sold at 264c to 294c/kg.
