Agents at Gunnedah penned 2750 cattle down 790 head on last sale. All the regular processors and feeder buyers attended and operated on a market that mirrored last week with any price changes being quality related.
Light weight yearling steers to restockers sold from 410c to 524c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg to restockers sold from 420c to 536c/kg. Medium weight yearling steers to feed sold from 432c to 514c with those to background at 543c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to feed sold from 350c to 537c/kg. Light weight yearling heifers to restockers sold from 320c to 404c/kg. Yearling heifers to feed for the domestic market sold from 365c to 446c/kg. Heavy yearling heifers to feed sold from 348c to 457c with those to the wholesale meat trade at 398c to 460c/kg.
Bullocks to processors sold from 420c to 455c/kg. Grown heifers to processors sold from 368c to 420c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to processors sold from 280c to 344c/kg.
