Due to a couple of days of wet weather the numbers were considerably less than the expected draw with a yarding of 4460. It was a fair to good quality yarding with good numbers of prime cattle in all sections along with fair numbers to suit the feeders and backgrounders. Following the extremely strong markets there were good numbers of cows yarded.

Young cattle to the trade were 8c dearer with prime vealers and yearlings selling from 400c to 492c/kg. Lightweight and heavy weight feeder steers and feeder heifers were 10c to 15c dearer while the middle weight feeder steers weighing 400kg to 480kgs were 2c to 4c/kg cheaper. Feeder steers sold from 370c to 530c while the feeder heifers sold from 358c to 467c/kg. Young cattle to the restockers continue their upward trend with the weaner steers selling to 580c and the young heifers sold to 449c/kg.

Grown steers and heifers were 18c dearer and more in places with the prime grown steers selling from 398c to 484c while the prime grown heifers sold from 413c to 473c/kg. Cows were up to 20c dearer with the 2 and 3 scores selling from 266c to 395c/kg. Prime heavy weight cows sold from 390c to 446c to average 416c/kg. Cows to the restockers sold from 304c to 363c/kg. Bulls were dearer with heavy weights selling to 401c/kg.
