All the regular buyers attending and active. An exceptional line up of cattle from far Western Queensland and the local district and with consignments from NSW and SA. The market very solid to dearer for all categories.
Yearling steers under 200kg topped 508c/kg. Yearling steers 200 to 280kg sold to 580c to average 530c/kg to restockers. Yearling steers 280 to 330kg sold from 302c to 580c/kg to restockers. Yearling steers 330 to 400kg selling from 380c to 568c/kg to restockers. Yearling steers 400 to 480kg sold to 527c to restockers and 520c/kg to Lot Feeders. Yearling steers over 480kg to 478c to processors and 532c/kg to Lot Feeders.
Yearling heifers under 200kg to 468c/kg to restockers. Yearling heifers 200 to 280kg sold from 280c to 478c/kg to restockers. Yearling heifers 280 to 330kg made to 482c/kg to restockers. Yearling heifers 330 to 400kg selling from 300c to 492c/kg to restockers. Yearling heifers 400 to 480kg topped 480c/kg to processors. Yearling heifers over 480kg made to 472c/kg to Lot Feeders.

A very good run of prime conditioned cows from Western Queensland and the near local district. Prime score 3 cows over 520kg sold to 420c/kg to processors. The 2 score cows 400 to 520kg made from 201c to 375c/kg. Bulls 450 to 600kg to 434c/kg. Bulls over 600kg to 440c/kg.

A great sale in Dalby today with a large increase in yarding, with the quality also improving on previous weeks.
All categories were firm to dearer with heavy processor cattle increasing by 10c to 15c/kg. Feedlot cattle also increased 20c to 25c with a run of 200 Angus heifers getting to 492c/kg.
Backgrounder cattle also saw improvements with weaner steers gaining 30c and weaner heifers gaining 10c.
