Yarding 5380 Change 949
A full panel of export processors was present and operating, along with the usual feed and trade buyers, plus local and interstate restockers.
Despite the increase in numbers buyers were able to absorb the larger supply plus lift average prices on a number of classes. Yearling steers to feed continued to climb in price with heavy weight yearling steers averaging 10c/kg better.
Most classes of yearling heifers to feed also improved in price. A larger supply of bullocks were in demand and prices experienced some small improvements.
