Yarding 6010 Change +1212
Cattle were drawn from far Western Queensland, NSW. and the balance from the local supply area.
The continuing dry season was noticeable through out the yarding and especially in the cow section.
The better lines attracted solid competition through out with light weight yearling steers going back to the paddock selling well also the medium and heavy weight yearling steers to feed sold to solid demand with buyers opting buy lines of cattle.
Light and medium weight yearling heifers sold to firm rates.
However cows lost 4c to 12c/kg. Light weight yearling steers returning to the paddock averaged 334c and sold to 374c/kg.
Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market averaged from 338c to 345c and made to 372c/kg. Heavy weight yearling steers to feed made to 352c to average 335c/kg. Light weight yearling heifers to restockers made to 268c to average 224c/kg. Yearling heifers to feed averaged from 233c to 266c and made to 310c/kg. Heavy weight yearling heifers to feed top at 318c to average 289c/kg.
A small sample of bullocks made to 272c average 267c/kg. Medium weight score 2 cows averaged 179c and sold to 200c/kg. Heavy weight 3 score cows averaged 207c and made to 217c/kg. Good heavy weight cows made to top of 230c with a good sample at 218c/kg. Heavy weight bulls made to 260c/kg.

Dalby sale yarded 6010 with all normal export and feeder buyers operating, with better lines of cattle selling firm. Heavy Cows were 7 to 10 cents cheaper.
