FOLLOWING on from the success of its inaugural event at Jimbour House last year, the Women of Lotfeeding group is hosting a gala knees-up at the Jondaryan Woolshed on Queensland’s Darling Downs next month.
People with a connection with, and a passion for the lotfeeding industry are invited to attend the“Beef, Bling & Bow Ties” black-tie event on the evening of 4 March.
Attendees will hear from two inspirational speakers, have the chance to participate in the inaugural charity “Beef Up” auction as well as meet and network with enthusiastic like-minded lotfeeders and industry service providers.
Speaking at this year’s event will be:
- Sally Mitchell – the inaugural winner of the Victorian ABC radio Rural Woman of the Year Award in 1994. Sally and her husband own and run a dairy farm at Torrumbarry, on the Murray River near Echuca. Sally has been involved in the Dairy Industry at many levels and is also a founding member of Women in Dairy Australia.
- Lisa Sharp – Lisa joined MLA in April 2015 and leads the Communications, Marketing and Industry Insights team. Lisa has an extensive background in marketing, product innovation, global strategy development and general management.
Tickets cost $100 includes a three-course meal, drinks and entertainment til late.
Buses will be available from Toowoomba, and discounted accommodation in Toowoomba is available.
