With the beef and dairy sectors growing at a rapid rate throughout Asia, there is a growing opportunity to impact production in these emerging markets through sharing knowledge and modern technologies in genetics and a host of other fields.
Beef and Dairy Livestock Asia 2017 – to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 8-9 March 2017 – will be an opportunity to showcase regional, Australian and international products and services with participants from commercial operators and governments throughout Asia.
A conference with presentations from leading universities, organisations and governments in the region will feature within the expo.
The aim of the event is to allow participants in the beef and dairy industry in Asia to gain a better understanding of products and services available to them. Ultimately, with this knowledge, this should result in improvements in productivity, stock health and animal welfare in these emerging markets.
Exhibitors will consist of products and services related to genetics, animal health products, animal feed products, feedlot construction and software, livestock traceability and information systems, livestock handling equipment, abattoir equipment, breed associations and other companies that are generally involved in the livestock sector.
Australian companies offering these services or which are involved generally in the livestock industry are invited to exhibit and showcase their products and services to these emerging Asian markets.
The event will also involve local and international universities and research organisations who will share their knowledge, including the most recent research and technology.
The Beef and Dairy Livestock Asia 2017 event is different to many other livestock events in Asia which also involve the pork and chicken sectors. This expo and conference will provide a unique experience for exhibitors to directly showcase their products, services and knowledge to beef and dairy enterprises in the region.
The event is being organised by the Live Export Program in Vietnam, which is a jointly funded program by Meat & Livestock Australia and LiveCorp.
