Australia’s premier beef industry event is well underway with more than 20,000 visitors attending Beef 2012 in Rockhampton today.

The triennial event is a celebration of beef in every sense of the word, involving thousands of stud and commercial cattle, wide-ranging beef industry focused trade exhibits and seminars and a diverse array of beef cooking and eating experiences.

In the next two days the judging of more than 2000 stud cattle will continue, which will culminate in the selection of an interbreed bull and female champions on Thursday afternoon.
