Property tours to Fitzroy Nurseries, Pelican Lagoons and Goonoo Feedlot, Comet, all departing at 7am
Stud cattle in centre ring all day – Brangus, Brahmans, Droughtmasters, Romagnolas, Santa Gertrudis and Charbray.
Seminars from 8.30am in the James Lawrence Pavilion – topics include: Tools for achieving sustainable profits for northern herds, How CSIRO science will underpin beef productivity into the future, How to make a profit in the face of climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, and Challenges and opportunities for EU Beef.
Handshakes program – The Qld Department of Agriculture will be hosting an investment seminar with domestic and international business representatives, with Qld Treasurer Tim Nicholls to be the guest speaker. Later in the International lounge Mr Nicholls will officially welcome guests from around the world.
