BEEF Central will have its largest ever team on site at Beef 2024 in Rockhampton next week, as we strive to keep our readers across Australia and around the world up to date with all of the news, developments and important stories as they unfold at the nation’s biggest beef event.
If you’re heading to Beef 2024 please drop in to our trade site and say hello – You can find us in the Walter Pierce Pavilion – site WP19, not far from the seminar rooms.
Our reporting team covering the event contains many of Australia’s most experienced and respected agricultural journalists including James Nason, Jon Condon, Eric Barker, Kerry Lonergan and Derek Tan (Trendsetters podcasts and Street Talk video series), Alastair Rayner and Sue Webster. The group has an average 25 years experience writing and broadcasting about Australian agriculture, and the beef industry in particular.
Members of the Beef Central team will be chairing and moderating a number of seminars, conferences and the Rural Press Club breakfast throughout the five-day event.
Past, present and future advertisers on the Beef Central platforms can catch up with our advertising team – business development manager Matt Hatchard and advertising and operations manager Nikki Nason – who will be out and about at Beef 2024 for the entire week. Also manning our trade site will be our former ad manager (now retired) Rod Hibberd. Keep an eye out also for some of our regular expert contributors who will be attending the event, including Chris Howie (markets) and Matt Dalgleish.
Ever popular cattle industry board games
At the Beef Central site, event patrons can pick up a copy of our popular beef industry board games – Cattle Baron, and The Great Aussie Cattle Quiz – both at show-special prices. (Click here to read an earlier Courier Mail article about the launch of the Cattle Baron board game).
Also on sale will be our new line of Beef Central branded caps, and copies of the feedlot industry history book, ‘Grainfed’ authored by Beef Central’s Jon Condon.
