Yarding 8029 Change +3355

The large lift in prices the previous sale resulted in the supply of stock at Dalby increasing by 3,355 head to 8,029. Cows dominated the selling pens with 2,106 head. There was a wide variation in the quality of the light weight cattle as producers choose to wean straight into the saleyards. Light weight yearling steers and heifers to restockers varied in price according to quality. Despite the large selection of yearling steers and heifers to feed prices hovered around the previous weeks levels. Bullocks and grown heifers to export processors experienced strong demand.
