Station Manager – Field Research

CSIRO is Australia’s national science agency, solving the greatest challenges through innovation, science and technology.

The Boorowa Agricultural Research Station, operated by CSIRO, is a state-of-the-art temperate, mixed farming agricultural research facility in southern NSW. An onsite Research Station Manager is required to manage the day-to-day farm operations of the facility and field activities, ensuring it is research ready to provide support for scientific research. This hands-on role involves liaising primarily with internal CSIRO research partners (Canberra based) to determine their needs, then working with them to deliver the field trial service and support activities to achieve consistent quality outcomes, whilst adhering to all compliance requirements. The process is consultative, dependable, with a big focus on Health Safety and the Environment.
