Nursery Manager – Regional Vic
The Victorian Strawberry Industry Certification Authority (VSICA) is a not-for-profit, independent organisation, which was established in 1995 by the then Victorian Department of Agriculture for the benefit of the strawberry industry.
The role of Nursery Manager is a largely autonomous role and will involve: Approx 80% of time will be spent on producing and maintaining plants and 20% on administration; Growing over 50 strawberry varieties at their Toolangi site; Training and working with casual staff during busy periods; Reporting to the Board, and liaising with the Chair; Business administration including organising board meetings, taking minutes, invoicing and managing the budget; With a major focus on plant health and growth.
