Our client is an established, independent commodity trading and logistics firm that links farmers seeking their best marketing opportunities and end consumers seeking grain.
Reporting to and working closely with the Director, as a Commodity Trader you will be responsible for continuing to build their market presence within the Riverina. Leveraging their existing customer base, you will liaise with stakeholders including growers, brokers, storage networks, end users and logistic freight providers to accumulate, sell and execute grain contracts. You will also: Build relationships at farmgate level to assist with ongoing accumulation requirements; Further establish the business with Riverina growers and consumers; Manage and assist in all logistics duties; Regularly engage with local grain stakeholders to continue to build brand awareness.
