There was only a slight increase in numbers and the quality remains mixed with a large percentage of secondary cattle through the sale.
There were a few pens of grain fed yearling and a few milk vealers which attracted the most competition.
Nearly 450 cows were penned.
Not all the usual buyers attended. The market that dropped 30c to 40c/kg on most cattle.
The best of the vealers steers sold from 330c to 412c and heifers topped at 370c/kg.
Medium and heavy trade steers sold mostly from 272c to 380c and trade heifers 270c to 290c/kg.
Feeder steers were limited with the better end 278c to 315 and heifers 230c to 270c/kg.
There was only a limited supply of heavy bullocks and they slipped 20c selling from 258c to 282c while the lighter grown steers reached 306c/kg.
Heavy grown heifers sold from 270c to 290c/kg mostly for 2 and 4 tooths.
Heavy 3 and 4 score cows ranged from 196c to 228c and the leaner 2 score medium weights 158c to 195c/kg
