Funeral arrangements for respected northern beef industry identity, the late John Cox, have been finalised.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mr Cox's life at St Augustine’s Anglican Church, 9 Charlton Street, in the Brisbane suburb of Hamilton, on Thursday, October 3, at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the Cox family repectfully requests that support be given to the Care Flight charity.

Mr Cox, who was managing director of Stanbroke Pastoral Company for 14 years, passed away on September 27 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 72.
