Latest livestock processing data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows a record beef production volume for the year ended 30 June, increasing 8.6pc to a 2.985 million tonnes. Almost 9.6 million cattle were processed during the year, up 8.1pc, with quarterly production records set for the June quarter in NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
