Grant Daniel Long Report
A smaller yarding of 5000 head was penned in Dalby today, with all regular buyers in attendance. Heavy slaughter cattle eased by 10-20c/kg, influenced by ongoing uncertainty around fuel prices and the shortened processing weeks leading into Easter. Heavy feeder steers remained mostly firm, supported by a run of very good quality cattle. Restocker steers and heifers eased by 15-20c/kg, with secondary lines experiencing a more notable drop of 20- 35c/kg.
