Proven in commercial conditions

Recent commercial trials involving 750 heifers delivered measurable improvements in both productivity and profitability.

Compared with traditional lick blocks, producers recorded:

  • +$30 higher gross revenue per head
  • 58.3% of cattle reached the 300kg sale weight compared with 36.7%
  • 10% lower cost per kilogram of liveweight gained

A second commercial trial, conducted during an extreme wet season, achieved the same finished weight while:

  • reducing supplementation costs by 62.5%
  • using 30% less urea
  • lowering toxicity risk

Independent government research has also demonstrated:

  • +35kg extra liveweight per breeding cow and calf
  • +22kg extra liveweight per growing steer
  • 27x higher phosphorus intake compared with traditional supplementation.

Importantly, these outcomes were not achieved under a single set of seasonal conditions.

The commercial trials were conducted across both drier and extreme wet seasons, providing producers with confidence that the technology can continue delivering value under very different operating environments.

Combined with independent government research, the results consistently point in the same direction: more consistent nutrient intake can improve productivity while reducing supplementation costs and labour.

For producers, that means evaluating supplementation not simply by the cost of the supplement itself, but by its impact on animal performance, labour efficiency and overall profitability.
