The Lucas Group is recruiting an experienced Grain Buyer. Our client is a global agrifood business specialising in pulses, grains and specialty crops. Based in Horsham, you’ll be responsible for the timely, cost-effective and professional execution of grain buying, receival and related logistics activities across the Wimmera/Western VIC region.
What You’ll Do: Build and manage long-term relationships with growers and suppliers; Develop and execute grain procurement strategies; Monitor markets, crop forecasts, supply and pricing to identify opportunities; Coordinate supply, logistics, storage and receivals; Work closely with QA, Operations and Export teams; Represent the company at grower, industry and regional events.
