Red Meat Processing & Export conference returns

Beef Central 10/06/2026

THE red meat processing and exporting sector’s key industry gathering event will return next year.

The Australian Meat Industry Council has settled on dates for the next Meat Manufacturing, Processing, & Export Conference, to be staged on the Gold Coast across 26-27 October, 2027.

The biennial gathering covering beef, sheep, lamb and goatmeat processing and export has taken place since 1991, and will be held again at its spiritual home at the Gold Coast’s Royal Pines Resort

The conference was last held in April last year, but will shift back to its normal October calendar slot next year. The 2025 event attracted an audience of more than 350 stakeholders from across the meat processing and export sectors, both in Australia and overseas.

At a time of rapid transformation driven by global demand shifts, cost pressures, automation and sustainability expectations, next year’s conference will bring together the people who make decisions, influence markets and drive outcomes.

Work has started on assembling a top-tier speaker lineup covering international and domestic trade and trade access, regulatory issues, supply chain resilience, consumer trends, sustainability, automation, labour challenges and future trends.

The event also carries a larger commercial trade display and ample networking opportunities for people shaping the sector’s performance and growth, from CEOs and executives to operations personnel and support sector stakeholders

The event brings an unparalleled opportunity for the industry to come together, learn, network, and be part of shaping the industry’s future.
