Project Officer – Biosecurity

Reporting to the Manager – EAD Preparedness, the Biosecurity Project Officer will support projects and extension to industry to strengthen biosecurity and emergency animal disease preparedness across the Australian egg industry. Combining project management, stakeholder engagement and technical coordination, key responsibilities include: Managing biosecurity and food safety projects within the Risk Program; Supporting RD&E activities focused on preparedness and resilience; Project management, coordinating timelines, reporting, deliverables and stakeholder communication; Preparing reports and presentations for industry, government and technical audiences; Collaborating with farmers, veterinarians, researchers, consultants and government agencies; Representing Australian Eggs in EAD preparedness and response activities.
